Skillet Peach

Glazed Chicken

This is an easy recipe that requires hardly any prep and comes out absolutely delicious. Y'all enjoy.

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 30 minutes

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken thighs

  • 11/2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1/4 cup chopped sweet onion

  • 1/2 teaspoon minced rosemary

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard

  • Salt (to taste)

  • 3 medium size peaches, chopped into bite-size pieces

  • Pepper (to taste)

Instructions:

  • Season raw chicken thighs with salt and pepper to taste

  • Heat large skillet over medium-high heat. Place 1 tablespoon oil into skillet. Add chicken and cooked about 7 minutes on each side or until each piece is cooked through and golden brown. Remove chicken from skillet and place under foil to keep warm.

  • Without cleaning skillet, add remaining oil, rosemary, and onion. Heat until onions turn a light golden color, scraping up anything that is sticking to the bottom of the skillet.

  • Add brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, peaches, and a pinch of salt to skillet. Cook about 10 minutes until peaches are soft.

  • Return chicken to the skillet, mixing all ingredients together until heated throughout. Continuously spooning sauce over chicken.

  • Serve when dish is heated throughout.
