Candied Pecans

This incredibly easy recipe takes 5-10 minutes to make and half that time to eat if you aren't careful. Enjoy on a salad, in a bowl of ice cream, or as a sweet snack.

Prep time: 2 minutes

Cook time: 4 minutes

Yield: 10 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup of water

  • 2 cups shelled pecans

Instructions:

  • Place a skillet over stovetop on medium heat. Add brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and water. Mix well until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to bubble.

  • Add pecans to mixture and cook for 3 minutes, stirring thoroughly to coat pecans.

  • Remove from skillet and place on parchment paper to cool.

  • Break pecans apart when cooled and enjoy.
