Grilled Peaches and Pork Chops

This recipe is the perfect centerpiece for your Sunday evening dinner. Let the family grill-master take over and do their thing!

Yield:  2 servings

  • 2 pork chops

  • 3 peaches

  • 1/2 bunch green onions

  • garlic cloves

  • 1/4 cup cilantro

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 lime

  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1/2 tablespoon dark brown sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper


  • Finely mince garlic cloves and cilantro. Add garlic, cilantro, black pepper, and soy sauce into a bowl and mix thoroughly. Rub mixture all over pork chops. Place pork chops in a sealed bag and refrigerate overnight.

  • In blender, combine the lime juice, sugar, red pepper, 1 peach, and salt to taste. Sauce can be refrigerated overnight or served immediately.

  • Prepare your grill to a temperature between 350°-400° F. Place pork chops on grill. Cook for 6 minutes on each side, turning only once. Make sure your pork chop is cooked all the way through but not overcooked.

  • Cut your remaining peaches into halves and place on grill for 3 minutes, away from direct heat. Flip peaches and cook for one more minute.

  • Grill green onions for 3 minutes.

  • Serve peaches, onions, and pork chops immediately. Serve with homemade sauce.
