Peach Cobbler Cookies

It's peach a cookie! These delicious treats will add variety to any cookie jar.

Prep time: 35 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes

Yield: Makes about 4 dozen cookies

  • 1 cup fresh peaches, chopped (peel peaches if preferred)
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg


  • Preheat oven to 350° F. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, almond extract, and vanilla extract and beat mixture together.

  • In separate bowl, whisk flour, white sugar, brown sugar, cream of tartar, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg. Gradually beat dry mixture into butter/sugar mixture.

  • When everything is well combined, stir in peaches.

  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper and place tablespoon-sized scoops of cookie dough on top of parchment paper.

  • Bake for 14-16 minutes, and let cool 3-5 minutes. Enjoy!
